Dear all,
Recently we bought two new Sun IB HBA.
We have connected them to our X4600s.
>* cfgadm -a *gave following output.
hca:3BA0001002950 IB-HCA connected configured ok
ib IB-Fabric connected configured ok
ib::3BA0001002952,ffff,ipib IB-VPPA connected unconfigured
unknown
ib::5AD0000025F08 IB-IOC connected unconfigured
unknown
ib::daplt,0 IB-PSEUDO connected configured ok
ib::rdsib,0 IB-PSEUDO connected configured ok
ib::rpcib,0 IB-PSEUDO connected configured ok
So I ran cfg -yc configure for appropriate devices. But configuration
failed ....
* bash-3.00# cfgadm -yc configure ib::3BA0001002952,ffff,ipib
*cfgadm: Hardware specific failure: configure operation failed ap_id:
/devices/ib:fabric::3BA0001002952,ffff,ipib
How ever I got following message on "dmesg" ....
Nov 27 09:39:49 ex-4600-03 ibd: [ID 517869 kern.info] NOTICE: ibd0: HCA
GUID 0003ba0001002950 port 2 PKEY ffff IPoIB broadcast group absent
Is it something wrong with my Switch configuration ??? Ple help to
resolve this matter??
