That firmware is too old. Can you investigate?
Older Linux releases will create the broadcast group, but the preferred
mechanism uses the Subnet Manager to set the broadcast group parameters.

By the way, switches with built-in Subnet Managers that are
running reasonably recent versions will automatically create the
"broadcast" group for the FFFF partition. If you are using the
OFED Subnet Manager running on a Linux server, it should also
create the group for the FFFF partition. In all cases, if that is
not happening automatically, there are commands through the
management interface for the Subnet Manager that can be used to
setup the "broadcast" group.

Is it something wrong with my Switch configuration ??? Ple help
