What does the "UP" field mean?
It shows the RUNNING flag. I moved it out of FLAGS so that I can
represent the flags with a single letter. (It was clashing with ROUTER)
I suggest compressing the flags for space -- just leave out the
commas.
What do the individual flags mean? I'm guessing that "V" is for
virtual, and that (perhaps) "M" is for multicast.
I will compress the flags. Yes, V is virtual, M is multicast, R is ROUTER
ADDR NAME CNT ILL ADR STFLAGS
I take it that "ADR" is the address ready flag, right? Why not
include this with the rest of the flags?
Yes it is address ready flag. I will include it with other flags.
Thanks
Vasumathi
