Today we have dladm and flowadm and we are working on ipadm.

There has been discussion to include statistics commands for the first two, called dlstat and flowstat.

The statistics command most closely to what ipadm does is called netstat, in that it reports statistics for IP interfaces, IP addresses, and protocols. (netstat also reports tables like connections, routes, etc.)

Is that an inconsistency that we care about?

Should we consider adding an ipstat down the road?
(I wouldn't mind such a command where I can ask to print ipInDiscards and ipInDelivers deltas every 5 seconds for bge0, with the same syntax as a dlstat and flowstat.)
