I installed Venus from a CD I burned myself from the .iso file. I tried
doing an upgrade over 5.3 but that wasn't much of a success. When I did a
clean install I had no problems at all. In fact, some things are better.
I've gotten my SB AWE64 Gold to work without having to use the OSS drivers
that I had bought for version 5.3. Perhaps there is something amiss with
those CDs?
