Well, then, something is definitely odd, because now I see
from reading the messages on this list, that other people
have exactly the same problem. BTW, I also tried installing
LM6 via ftp, and when I tried to boot, the results (and
errors) were identical. Also, another person on this list
says someone in alt.os.linux-mandrake told him to comment
out the "hard drive
optimization" in an init script. Could this really cause
this problem?
