Nothing helps right now, but thanks.  I seem to have made my SCSI 0 (Win98)
disc unbootable in my zest to get the system back to dual boot status.  I
ended up overwriting the first sector of the sda1 (dos bootable) partition
with lilo as well as the MBR.  The end result is that Win98 will no longer
boot even when I restore the MBR with a FDISK /MBR and I can't find a
utility to repair the sda1 partition.    Now I'm saving data w/a bunch of
floppies and zip discs and will soon re-install Win98 (in a day or so).

Also thanks to the other folks who made suggestions.  I just wish I hadn't
screwed up.  Oh well!!
