Well if Creative did the driver right, dmabuf=1 turns on persistant dma
meaning once it has one it grabs on and won't let go so to speak.
I get the worlds nastiest sound without it, however mine are acompanyed
by debug info dumped to console with every jitter and pop.
Now would be a good time to mail creative and tell them to "free" the
source.
