Okay, I get to ask the stupid questions: 1. Is it plugged into your serial port? 2. Is it plugged into the same serial port it was plugged into when you first used it? (if you're not sure, unplug it and stick it in the other port to check, this has happened to me before) 3. Is it plugged in to its AC adapter, and is the adapter plugged into the wall? 4. Is it turned on? 5. Is it connected to a working, unoccupied phone line? If so, take the cord that is plugged into your modem right now and plug it into a telephone to make sure it gets a dial tone. I'm sure none of that helps, but every once in a while it's something very simple like this. If this doesn't solve it you're going to actually have to find someone who knows what they're talking about to help you. Good luck. Isaac
