DAVE 3.1 is a Netbios client that plugs into your Chooser - it allows for browsing of Netbios shares (on Windows or linux) - does not interfere with Appletalk network configurations at all. I have been using it for quite some years as I was tasked to incorporate Macs into a primarily Windows network - and being that the graphics department would not part with their Macs - which would have been a tremendous waste of money, it was easier to integrate them into the NT domain via DAVE.
