I'll put together a mail a bit later tonight on creating the relevent stuff.
There are other ways to load the modules, but IMHO doing it the way i will
describe is one of the tidiest and complete ways.

It has to be said - is there another way of loading the scsi card at boot
time other than using an initrd file (don't really know it's proper name!) ?

Obviously you could load the module in your rc.local script, but that isn't
strictly speaking boot time anymore - if you wanted to boot linux from a
scsi disk it would be far too late then ;o)
