Oh yeah, just as a follow-up. The reason I'm able to install Windows 95 is because I can run the setup file from DOS (I'm booting right now with a Win98 boot disk). And for whatever reason the computer doesn't reboot itself during that installation. I'm suspicious now about the media type being the problem (650 MB VS 700 MB). Maybe they'll send me a new CD-ROM ...
But wouldn't you think the CD-RW - which was just installed - would be able to boot ...
