I haven't used Windoze for quite some time, don't even have it
installed. BUT, back when I was disallusioned into runnin the
latest, I downloaded the files an .cab's needed to install RC3,
W98 ..... from microsoft.com Complete files too, no hunting
for missin ones. Later M$ said it was a mistake, an anybody that
d/l'd the files needed to delete them. Yeah... right. FWIW, RC3
was better than the final. Less bloat for legacy hardware.
I reckon M$ figured the warez newsgroups needed some updates ;)
