Thanks for the info on this.  Im very familiar with Photoshop having done
desktop publishing involving alot of image editing and web development, and
couldnt ever see me using anything else.  But Im curious now and can't wait
to try GIMP out.

One question I have is which html editor do I use now?  Im used to using the
crappy Frontpage and tried various others, netobjects and visualpage.  Each
had their good points and bad oints and at times Id jump between them to
automate some steps.  I hated it, especially Frontpage, it was so buggy and
I ended up writing most the code in notepad.  Once Id done that I could
never take it back into Frontpage as it would reformat it and screw things
up.  It would replace the <br> tags with <p> and I hated it doing that.  The
default should be <br> not <p> [for enter/line break] in my opinion.  But it
would do nothing but <p> all over my pages :)
