ok now i know what you are talking about i just checked my second computer
out the one that has SBLive on it and if i go to the Drake Hard Config i get
no reading on my card but it does work and this is how to get it to work go
to your desk top control panel and click on the sound button and you will
have to configure the sounds out one at a time and set the wav with the task
you want it to play and press apply on each one oh and at the top put a
check in the use sounds this is how i got mine to work but other than that
mine as should have your card should have been auto configured when it was
installed and the Mandrake 7.1 has the newest version of the driver from
sandblaster.
and if you also check in the hard where part on KDE desktop control panel
you will see a part that has you IRQ and i/o settings in it but like i said
in KDE you have to set the sounds and turn the sounds on in your KDE
desktop.
