From my perspective, KDE2 allows much more customization than KDE1
did, even tho it currently lacks but a few third party themes and the
planned future manager.
In Control Center , there are already different themes:
Look 'N Feel | Style | Widget Style and theme
Then in | Colors, you can further customize any theme you chose above
Then by r-clicking on any Windows title bar you can change the
borders, 'Decoration', several choices, like 'system ++' for example
'Course, you can use any pic file for backgrounds, just put them in
/home/tom/.kde/share/wallpapers/AngelBoris.jpg
. ^^^ your 'user' dir ^^^^^^^^^^^ YMMV, but I'm in love ;>
Put in several and you can have different ones for each desktop.
Bottom line, due to all the possible combos of the above, is you have
the ability to make your own themes. So who needs
