Ok, I installed a std 850mb hd to my ide1 as master. Bios recognizes the
drive and Corp Server does not. Here is what happens:
1) Boot - Bios recognizes primary ide drive (850mb)
Bios finds primary and secondary ATA 100 drives
Corp Server 1.1 Loads CD Drivers
Asks for Language - English
Asks for class of install - Standard
Asks for SCSI Interface - none
Asks Keyboard layout - US
Asks Misc Questions:
Drive Optimization - off
Security - medium
Ram - 255
Supermount - off
Numlock - off
Upon hitting enter I get the following message:
An error occured- No valid devices were found on which to create new file
systems. Please check your hardware for the cause of this problem.
I tried 3 different drives. I can get bios to find all of them and I booted
them all in dos and checked them with fdisk to be sure all partitions are
deleted.
Any idea how to fix this? I think it is Mandrake and not the drive.
