Does that relate to TNT and TNT2 cards? one of my boxes here has a TNT2 32M card.. and I wanted to know if I can use it for trying 3d stuff... I know I had it working ages ago, but that was on the default mdk7.2 kernel... How well are sys vid cards supported? I have an AGP card here that has TV output and a ruddy big green heatsink stuck to the chip,, (so I can't tell what the chip is... the number on the card is 90915-1.1 does that mean anything to anyone? (Actually, I just reafed the chip cooler off and its a SIS 6326 is that any good? never had a sys Vid card before...) If I can get that working, I might put it on my home linux server and hook it up to my DVD rom,, maybe I can get DVD out to the TV... that would be very nice... rgds Frank -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Charles A Edwards Sent: Tuesday, 18 September 2001 7:25 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [newbie] Mobos and RAID > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Tom Brinkman > Sent: Monday, September 17, 2001 6:01 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: [newbie] Mobos and RAID > > > > All I did was say: > > > Well, 'cept for my decision to > > > go over to the dark side and buy a Geforce2. It now has a place of prominence as a paperweight. > (somebody say Sky King, Song Bird, > and Penny ;) Remember them well. Sandwiched between Fury and Rin-Tin-Tin. I'll trade you a modem and TV tuner card for a case and 300W PS. Charles (-: Forever never goes beyond tomorrow. And for too many there are now no tomorrows.
