When reading these kind of comments I can't help getting the impression that 
you're comparing GUI's instead of the whole OS.

It's the usual (IMO shortsited) criticism I hear from m$windows users, that 
don't really want to be bothered to take a closer look at linux.

As for the industrie-standard: both Staroffice and Wordperfect do a fine job 
on that with Linux. The only next step could be having m$office running on 
Linux itself. What's the use of that, though?
