OK I can install and get everything running and add / remove RPMS, Build from source use VIM, set up X etc... What I am currently looking for is not so much the architecture of the linux kernal but a typical linux distribution (I guess mandrake seeing that is what I am running) in so much as the boot process, how processes are handled what config files are called in boot up and a description of what options do what. So I guess I am looking for information on configuring a linux system but which also explains the theroy. Shanon __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
