Press <Ctlrl><Alt><F2> to open a terminal / console (also called a command-prompt) 2. type : su (to become "root") and enter your root-password (remember that from the install - eh ?) 3. type : mc (this will open "Midnight Commander", - supposing it's installed. If not, do it from the CD). 4. point it to a file called : /etc/X11/XF86Config and highlight this file. 5. press F4 to edit the file 6. Now, scroll down and locate something like Section : Graphics devices ( I don't remember the exact phrasing, cause right now I'm sitting at an OS/2 - machine. And, - yes OS/2 is alive and well !) 7. find a line that reads : # option : sw_cursor 8. remove the hash-sign (#). 9. press F2 to save the file, then F10 to quit "Midnight Commander". 10. press <Ctrl><Alt><Backspace> to kill the X-server 11.Restart and Enjoy !
