And then click on servers tab and on postfix--the first three variables, 
fully explained by clicking on them (from the General options section) 
should actually get you running.

Your transfer maps are probably a clumsy way to attempt to resolve the 
internal/external conflict--better to use aliases and to set up a file 
like /etc/postfix/mydestinations which lists on separate lines all 
hostnames and domains you will receive mail for, and point to that file 
in "domains to receive mail for".  Transfer maps are more efficient at 
making a relaying mailserver, which you probably don't want to do.

Accounts(mailboxes) are just user accounts or special user accounts. 
 They store mail by default in /var/mail/username.  Mailboxes you can 
make aplenty using linuxconf to set up pop users.

I have never used imap with postfix, but pop3 is built-in.  You might 
have to run a separate server for imap.
