I am having a problem with installed rpm packages. I noticed my screensaver, ksetisaver, wasn't working. I checked in Mandrake control center and ksetidaver was no longer listed as a choice under screensavers. I'd been having some problems with it so I decided to uninstall it. Here's what happened:
# rpm -e ksetisaver-0.2.7-1.i686.rpm error: package ksetisaver-0.2.7-1.i686.rpm is not installed I thought that was odd so I tried to install it and this happened: # rpm -i ksetisaver-0.2.7-1.i686.rpm package ksetisaver-0.2.7-1 is already installed I looked in rpmpkgs and it shows that ksetisaver is installed. I did an rpm --rebuilddb and it still show ksetisaver installed. I am really beginning to dislike rpms. What's going on here? Why did ksetisaver disappear and why can I not install or uninstall it?
