When you mounted the image, could you read the files on it? Did you unmount the image before trying to burn it? (You shouldn't need to, but just in case.)
One change I would make in your burn command: cdrecord -v speed=2 dev=0,0,0 -data cd_image I am not sure, but I think the space between "dev=" and "0,0,0" would give you trouble. Mikkel -- Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with Ketchup!
