Don't count in the Dutch, the referendum's got no weight whatsoever and no-one
is held by it's outcome.

Any which way I don't know what to vote......if the referendum blows away the
constitution-proposal (which isn't too bad by itself) they'll just shove it
at us again at a later date saying "we didn't explain it properly the first
time". A consequence will certainly be that the EU parliament will be even
more powerless than it was against the council, bereaved of the little
democratic support it had.

If it gets accepted the sitting politicians will pat each other on the back
and continue business as usual.
The only hope would be an enormous upcome at the votes giving the parliament
the direly needed democratic support to be able to stand up against the
council. Alas that's certainly not going to happen.

IMO the only hope we have is getting the parliament up and working as it
should......this EU machine will never get stopped, it's long past the point
of no-return.
Ironicaly, my hopes are on the Germans hoping they will bring about the
nescessary democratic changes.
