Hello All, I've been “lurking” for a while but now I've really screwed up and I'm over my head.
I'm running a IBM T-23 laptop with dual boot (W2000/MDK10.1). I was not able to make it boot using the 2.6 kernel but the 2.4 kernel has been very reliable. My desktop is KDE. I have been trying to get my USB memory stick to work but I have lost the /proc/bus/usb directory and the /proc/scsi directory. They did exist at one point yesterday when I was attempting to follow the USB flash memory How To. I have my 6 CD powerpack install set and a slow phone connection to the Internet. Can i get the proper directories back in place and find happiness in USB land? Thanx in advance for any suggestions. paulluksch
