I have now got Gnome running in LE2005. On Monday 16 May 2005 16:19, Earl Gibbs wrote: > Keith Powell wrote: > >I have installed LE 2005 on my spare hard drive, for checking it > > out. Earl, I have now done an upgrade from 10.1 rather than a clean installation of LE2005, and Gnome2.8 is selectable and running OK. So I am wondering if a Gnome package (library, perhaps) is missing on the magazine cover DVD which I used to install LE, and LE is using the package/library which 10.1 installed. It's the Linux Magazine cover DVD. Thanks again for your help. Keith
