Have you pointed a browser at http://localhost:631, and gotten the cups configuration pages? I find using them is the easiest way to deal with printer problems. I have had problems recently with lp0 getting taken my mtink when I checked my Epson C80 for ink levels. If that does not work, what is the printer you are using, and what version of Mandrake are you running? Rob -- Linux User #183693 http://counter.li.org/
