I have a number of 3" RW-CDs that I'd like to format - my camera uses them but sometimes screws them up to the point where they cannot be formatted in the camera. I used to be able to reformat on a Windows box but that's not available anymore, so I was hoping to get them reformatted on my Mandriva 2005 LE box (a Dell with a Samsung SC-148C CD).
Using cdrwtool with default options gives me: #cdrwtool -d /dev/hdc -t 4 -q using device /dev/hdc setting speed to 4 set_options "set_options" seems to be the response where something's not right, but the man page isn't clear on just what it wants to see. I get this with either a regular size RW CD or one of the little guys. Thoughts?
