looks like way more swap than you will ever need and may very well be the 
problem. If you have a GB of ram then you probably don't need any swap. But 
if you really want to have some just put in 256 or 512mb. Also / would be 
more than adequate at say 1Gb unless you have a lot of kernels loaded. just 
my 2cents.  HTH
