1/ rpm-build is in the 'main' folder of any Mandriva mirror, and so it ought to be on your CDs too. I cannot check that since I do not actually have a CD. Add a source for 'main' and you should be able to install it. Follow instructions at http://easyurpmi.zarb.org/ 2/ Of course. There are rpms for gEDA on the contrib mirrors. Follow the previous link to add a contrib source. Packages available are # urpmq --fuzzy geda geda geda-gnetlist geda-gschem geda-gsymcheck geda-symbols geda-utils libgdgeda6 libgdgeda6-devel libgeda-data libgeda23 libgeda23-devel BTW: I tried gEDA last year and was really disappointed with it. I found a commercial package called Eagle that was much better http://www.cadsoftusa.com/download.htm It is no cost for limited use. derek -- www.jennings.homelinux.net http://twiki.mdklinuxfaq.org
