I also suspect the problem is with the quality of the user.  Linux users
use Linux, where as windows users often use Word, or play Doom.  Windows
users are more bothered by the application, and what they want to do,
than by the means by which it is done, making them more vulnerable to
malware.

That said Vista is suppose to be the first version of windows where the
user is not given admin, or root privileges by default.  MS is only just
beginning to implement basic security measures like that by default.
