I had one box that behaved like that, and I had to set acpi=on,
surprisingly enough. I was told that there was no such setting, but it's
the only one that worked, and has been working like that for a year or so.
Moral - try every possible setting for acpi, even if someone says it's
impossible ;-)
AnneIt's work i change the lilo.conf then i add the "acpi=on " . My computer can shutdown normally. Thanks Bryan & Thanks Anne & everybody that help me solve this problems thanks a lot.
