urpmi.removemedia -a to remove all your current sources urpmi.addmedia to adds sources for cooker main and contrib (see man 'urpmi.addmedia' for syntax) urpmi urpmi to update urpmi itself urpmi --auto-select to update everything else. urpmi kernel to install the new kernel (you will be presented a list of available kernels) edit /etc/lilo.conf to confirm the new kernel will boot as default lilo -v to write the Master Boot Record shutdown -r now to reboot.
