I have recently evaluated Appgen's MyBooks Pro. It is meant to be a
replacement for Quickbooks.

While I think it is good and may be able to help you I'm not so sure I'd
use it till it matures a bit more.
Give it a try for 30 days import your stuff and let us know what you think.
As for a replacement for Act I don't have a recommendation at this time.
