The manuals usually get posted on the web-site as pdf files after a few weeks/months. You can get a copy of the latest versions, the 10.1 Starter Guide (6Mb) and the 10.1 Command Line Guide (1.6Mb) (there were no manuals for 10.2) from: http://www1.mandrivalinux.com/en/fdoc.php3 It's looking a little dated now, but the underlying fundamentals remain the same and it should be helpful.
