Thanks for that. May I ask what you would suggest as a way to setup a
firewall?
That I can not help you with, as the way I do it is not something most
new users would be comfortable with. I tend to edit the files in
/etc/shorewall directly. For me, it is a simple matter to add a couple
of rules to /etc/shorewall/rules. I also like Bastille, but I have not
tried it on Mandriva. http://www.bastille-linux.org/
