I am not sure if 2005 is any different to 2006, but you can see my notes on configuring hibernate and sleep for my daughters lappie at http://www.jennings.homelinux.net/aopen1556.html At a guess I would say that the event which caused the hibernate is still present when you resume. How are you triggering the hibernate?
