Don't forget YUM :-) But now something that could actually help... I do clean installs of new distro versions then compare my old config files with the new ones and make sure that there are no major incompatibilities before hand. If I do find something that could be a problem I can still use my old files as reference for setting up the same configuration with the new files. This is especially usefull if you end up switching distros. Mike ____________________________________________________ Want to buy your Pack or Services from Mandriva?
