Free servers = limited resources. Limited resources + heavy demand = errors/problems/issues. There is an answer. You want a solution? Okay, here is one. Use Rsync to copy one of the mirrors to your local machine. Use the local machine as your source to upgrade/install, and voila, no fubar. That is what I do. Works fantastic, I get great response, fast installs, upgrades, I always have the same packages across all my machines. I keep my machines in sync by periodically downloading new packages. Doesn't take a lot of time except when new versions come up and if that bothers you, you can frontload the repository by copying the RPM's from the CD/DVD before you update the repository. If you really are looking for a solution, I will even share my scripts with you that already do this for me. If you are just trolling, disregard this response. ____________________________________________________ Want to buy your Pack or Services from Mandriva?
