Google shows alot about this, but it isnt a specific error message. SDL seems to run quite a few things under the covers of games. One fix was about artsd not playing nice with it. May also be a sound error, here's the link: http://mandrivausers.org/index.php?s=8b462ad88554b640a425ecf590be6a5e&showtopic=29572&pid=216003&st=0&#entry216003 Some other questions, Can you run it as root ? do other games work ? Can you run glxgears ? what type of video card do you have maybe we'll find this yet ;) -- RickS ~ The mind is like a TV set - when it goes blank, ~ ~ it's a good idea to turn off the sound. ~ ____________________________________________________ Want to buy your Pack or Services from Mandriva?
