Thanks for both the pointers. Interestingly, I already had KLvemkdvd installed. Maybe I just ran out of time to figure it out (this was a while ago, so entropy has removed most of the details from my memory). When I get a chance I'll play with these and see what they can do. Starting with KLvemkdvd, since it's already installed (and available as Mandriva rpms).
