I dual-boot my machine into Winblows XP for one reason, and one
reason alone: games. (And I hardly ever do that, anymore.) But
the one nice thing about playing games in win is the plenteous
no-CD cracks. Maybe there's no-registration cracks for HL2.

id seems to do--and do it right--with every release. I'm sure
the company that makes HL is big and rich enough to spring for
some Linux developers to make Linux installers.
