I should put in my two cents here. I don't think the 64 bit OS is ready for
primetime. I went back to the 32 bit OS after a few weeks because I had so
many problems with apps. Libraries seemed to be the trouble for me.
I've been told that they are doing nice things for 2007 and I will give it a
shot when it becomes official.
I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how well your new system works in
32 bit anyway. :) I can't recommend using the x86_64 OS yet though.
