Bryan, Thanks so much for you help.  I think this is
exactly what I'm looking for.  I installed esmtp along
w/mutt and postfix and immediately the email went
thru.  Time will tell, however.  I'm sure you'll all
be hearing from me if it doesn't pan out =P.  Thanks
also to the other suggestions tho they didn't seem to
work for me...
