[newbie] cdrecord wont die!!

Hi All, I've been trying to burn an audio CD, using K3B. As usual, it's hung halfway through writing, and my CD Burner is still active, and wont eject the CD. I've killed K3B through Ksysguard, but 2 instances of cdrecord are still running with PID 5668 & 5669. I've tried 5 times to kill via ksysguard, but it just wont die!
