I have done it often. Just make sure you run scandisk and then defrag on the
windows first, and take note of the size of the contents of your windows
partition. You can resize the Windows partition during the Mandriva
installation. The next time you boot Windows, you have to run a scandisk if
it doesn't run automatically.
