Those are a few parts that are guarenteed to have support. NVidia always
is recommended. I just don't like VIA because of my experiences with
them. Hopefully this will give you some good ideas. The nice part about
AM2 is you probably will be able to upgrade for a while. Or you could go
with a Biostar TForce mobo with onboard video for Socket 939 if you
really need a budget, then get the 3800+ X2 939 edition, then get the
G.Skill PC4000 RAM or something. Those are a few AMD options (as AMD is
more for budgets anyway).
