Hi guys, I'm trying to do a maiden Linux install on a Dell Dimension 2400, and for some reason, cannot get a "normal" resolution install GUI, just the low resolution.
Now, as you can appreciate, this is a pain in the rear with no mouse, as I want to do an install tailored to the needs of the end user, not a standard install. Could it be a VGA driver related issue? If I recall correctly, it's an Intel on board graphics chip.... I've never had a problem in the past with these, and I've had MandrivaONE running on the machine before, with full resolution graphics at 1024x768, to demonstrate the OS to the "customer". So now I have a convert to Linux, why cant I get it install as I want it to? :-) I've done hundreds of Mandrake/Mandriva installs, and never had one do this! Help!
