Hi all-
Since installing MDV2006 a while back, my little thumbdrive doesn't auto-mount, doesn't show up in devices. I ignored this for a while, but now seem to have need of the little bugger. It used to show up in 2005LE. I tried manually mounting it, but no joy. I seem to remember some discussion of this, but cannot find it in the archives, or on Google.
Anyone able to point me towards the light?

Hi,
have you tried watching syslog when you plug it in ?
as root: tail -f /var/log/syslog

I think its "gnome-volume-properties" or gnome-volume-manager"

Thanks for the response, Rick.

Not exactly sure what this is telling me, other than it is detected. How do I access it? /dev/sda and /dev/sda1 cannot be read by user cam, came with disc3/part1. Can I get it to show up in the devices folder?
Cam
